From a look through my portfolio, you can tell that I love photographing dahlias.  And dahlia season does not end August 31.  I have just added six new dahlia photos to the portfolio, all of which were taken September 13.  Although some varieties were well past their peak, dozens of others were just hitting their prime, and the dahlia fields were gorgeous.  I was experimenting that morning with using a teleextender along with my macro lens--to let me get just a bit tighter shot--and I liked the results. The new photos are Dahlia 42, 43, 44, 45a, 48, and 50, and they're scattered through each of the three main galleries.  I hope that you enjoy them.
